Judge Prohibits Jon Gosselin from Media Whoring

Jon and Kate Gosselin have fallen off the front pages of the tabloids recently, thanks in part to Tiger Woods and his wandering eye. However, news broke today that TLC has won an injunction barring Jon Gosselin from making appearances, which TLC  says is  a direct  violation of  their production contract.

Judge Michael Mason ruled on Thursday in favor of Discovery Communications, which owns TLC, and is suing Gosselin for breach of contract. According to Mason's order, Gosselin must get written consent before making public statements about the show, TLC or Discovery.

"Photos of Jon Gosselin with scores of bikini-clad women was inconsistent with our image brand of our show," Edward Sabin, TLC's Chief Operating Officer, argued.

After their win, TLC ominously released the statement, "We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin's numerous breaches."
