'Kate Plus Eight' Minus Jon Gosselin

So Jon Gosselin's womanizing and Ed Hardy pimping antics have ousted him from the TLC show Jon and Kate Plus Eight, which has been waning in popularity since the couple announced their split. In an effort to save the show, producers are going to cut Jon completely and focus on Kate's struggles as a newly single mother. The show will still exploit focus on the eight Gosselin kids and beginning in November, the new show will be called, Kate Plus Eight.
"Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family," TLC president Eileen O'Neill said in a statement. "The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate's journey really resonates with our viewers."
Amongst rumors that Jon is developing a show with Lindsay Lohan's father, Divorced Dad's Club, TLC maintains that they will continue their "exclusive" relationship with Jon and that he will continue to appear on the series but on a less regular basis. Jon also revealed in a Primetime interview that he despises Kate and that he's cried more in the last eight months than he has in his whole life. He also said he's sad at how he's gone from "America's favorite dad to dirt-bag."
