Kevin Federline Scores 'One Tree Hill' Role

After ABC and Fox have dominated the summer line-up, in an attempt to win back some ratings -- CW is actually going to pay Kevin Federline to appear in the tween drama, "One Tree Hill."

K-Fed is scheduled to appear in a multi-episode story arc, playing the role of a cocky rock singer. Now there's a stretch. In his role, he plays the frontman of a rock band called No Means.

"One Tree Hill" creator Mark Schwan told the press: "Kevin came in and he did a great job. He really seemed like a sweet guy and I just felt that he would be great in that. I have to honestly say he was a good fit for the character. I don't know anything about the kid but he seemed very sweet and very sincere about working hard and embracing the opportunity. It's just about being good in the role."

This is a big break for Federline, who was recently embarrassed when he showed up for a wardrobe call on the set of the Keanu Reeves flick "The Night Watchman" - a film he thought he had a role in. However, upon arrival he soon realized he had been fired from the film and his manager didn't tell him.

Federline's acting experience is limited to a small role on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" last year and another role in the dance movie, "You Got Served." Will K-Fed become the next Ben Affleck? Get all your celebrity betting over at the Bodog Sportsbook.
