In sick and twisted news of the day, Kurt Cobain might become a big, fat joint.

Back in June, Courtney Love discovered she had been robbed of her late husband's ashes. Love apparently kept Cobain's ashes in a pink teddy bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair. Other items were also stolen from her house including thousands of dollars worth of jewelry.

In a new and bizarre development, Cobain's ashes fell into the hands of weirdo artist Natascha Stellmach, who plans to smoke his remains.

Stellmach's work is a "death cycle" in five parts, examining themes of suicide and desecration. Stellmach argues that her inhalation of the late frontman will This will release Cobain "into the ether from the media circus".

Someone needs to tell Natascha Stellmach that ashes don't burn and are therefore impossible to smoke. They're already burnt Natascha, that's why we call them ashes.
