Us Weekly has dropped the bombshell that country star Leann Rimes has been cheating on her husband Dean Sheremet with Lifetime movie costar Eddie Cibrian. The two were seen in a Laguna Beach restaurant holding hands and smooching. Us Weekly also reports that the new couple met for a quickie at the Malibu Beach Inn on March 14.

Rimes posted on her blog today, "This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support. I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white."

Meanwhile, Sheremet, who is a backup dancer, twittered "I love my wife!"

For his part, Cibrian said, "LeAnn and I are friends, we went to dinner, that's it. The most ridiculous thing is that people believe I would do something like this period - much less do it in a public place. The false accusations are obviously causing a rift at home, but me and my family will get through this together."

Rimes married Sheremet when she was 19. They have no children.
