Lenny Kravitz Hospitalized

OK! Magazine reports that Lenny Kravitz was hospitalized on Monday due to an extreme case of bronchitis. Apparently the singer had been suffering from respiratory tract infections as a result of the flu since mid-January.

"Due to extreme dehydration and fatigue, doctors were unable to control it with outpatient treatment and advised the singer to check into the hospital," a spokesperson for Kravitz told the Alternative Press. "He was taken this morning to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami for immediate treatment."

Kravitz's illness has forced him to postpone his trip to Europe to promote his new album It Is Time for a Love Revolution.
