It's raining babies in Hollywood. People Magazine is reporting that British songstress Lily Allen is pregnant.

According to People, the 22-year-old "Smile" singer has been dating Ed Simons, 37, of the Chemical Brothers since September, and now the angel-voiced Allen is carrying his baby. "As the pregnancy is at a very, very early stage, the couple ask that you respect their privacy," a rep for Allen said to People. "The couple will be making no further comment but they are obviously both thrilled by the news."

Allen, who recently claimed that she went from a size 12 to a size 8 dress size thanks to hypnosis, talked about her desire to step out of the limelight and start a family soon. "Maybe I could retire at 25. I'm only going to do one more album," Allen told the Sunday Times. "It's a great job, but it doesn't leave time for what's important. Like having a family. I'd like to live in the country and have a walled garden, and chickens and pigs."
