Rumors swirled recently when Liv Tyler posed at New York's Costume Institute Gala on Monday night without a wedding ring and today it was confirmed that the 5-year marriage between Tyler and her rocker husband, Royston Langdon, is officially over.

A spokesperson for the couple released the following statement, "Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time."

Langdon was a former singer and bassist for the rock band Spacehog.
