Madonna Sues Apartment Co-op

The "Material Girl" is on the hunt for more space for all her materials... and a pesky management company of the luxury apartment building will not get in her way.

After trying to buy a neighboring apartment in hopes of expanding her existing 6,000-square-foot duplex, Madonna's purchase of the unit was blocked. According to reports, Madonna is now suing the management company because she claims the co-op's board of director's wrongfully blocked her purchase of the apartment at 1 W.64th St., overlooking Central Park. Madonna and her hubby Guy Ritchie are requesting the court allow the sale to go through — and also to rule that the board must pay her legal fees.
