Mariah Carey Drunk During Acceptance Speech

We've all done it. Had one too many and made asses out of ourselves in public. The difficult thing about this for superstars like Mariah Carey is that she probably shouldn't get blitzed before receiving an award because the cameras tend to be rolling in situations like this - just a thought.

After being awarded the Best Supporting Actress Award for her role as a social worker in the critically-acclaimed drama Precious at the  2010 Palm Springs Film Festival on Tuesday night,  Carey  warbled and giggled through and acceptance speech, saying “Please forgive me, because I’m a little bit, um-” An audience member finished the sentence for her, to which she replied, “Yeah!”

Much of the media is calling Carey's speech "bizarre" but we here at Bodog Beat are glad to see Carey sans the stick up her ass. It's nice to see her not take herself too seriously and loosen up a bit. Go ahead Mariah, have that glass or two of champagne - you're a lot more fun!
