Mary-Louise Parker Ends Engagement

Mary-Louise Parker, the star of Showtime comedy Weeds, has broken off her engagement with her fellow Weeds actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Which is too bad since they had the whole three name thing in common and everything.

AP reports that 43-year-old Parker, hopes they remain friends (ouch!) and that she still holds him in the highest regard. That’ll be sure to ease the pain when she starts dating a younger, more handsome and more famous guy.

Morgan, who plays Parker’s character’s deceased husband in Weeds, is best know for his role as Denny on Grey’s Anatomy.

This will be their second split since they started dating in June 2006.

Parker has had a bumpy love life. In 2003 actor Billy Crudup left her while she was seven months pregnant with their child while he hooked up with actress Clare Danes. They had been together since 1996.
