Meghan McCain, daughter of Republican former presidential hopeful John McCain and known for blogging on ”˜mccainblogette.com’ while on the campaign trail with her father, as well as her sexy Twitter pic, has written a memoir entitled, Dirty Sexy Politics.
In the book, she writes about her experiences while her father was running for the presidency, calling herself a "political prop" and claiming her job was to "Keep a smile on my face, look admiringly at my father, and clap at the appropriate times."
Apparently, McCain doesn't hold back on her disdain for the state of the Republican party. The Washington Post writes, "Her memoir is as much a scathing critique of the Republican Party as it is a passionate tale of life on the campaign trail. McCain takes repeated jabs at the intolerant ethos of today's Republicans."
Of Sarah Palin, Meghan writes that the former Alaskan Governor was "the most beautiful politician I had ever seen" but "rather than joining us, and our campaign, she seemed only to begin her own."
Meghan McCain also said that Laura Bush was a bit of a cold fish during a luncheon.
"For Mrs. Bush, this was one more meeting she had to take during the day," McCain wrote. McCain goes on to say that she then wasn't seated at the lunch and that she was ushered out beforehand and given a doggy bag.
McCain also says that after her father lost to Barack Obama, the family escaped to their Arizona cabin. During the trip, they decided that John's wife, Cindy McCain should try out for Dancing With the Stars. Sadly for them, however, Bristol Palin scored the gig. Think Bristol will do well on the show? Bodog's betting she won't, putting Bristol as the 20/1 longshot. Get your Dancing with the Stars betting in the Bodog Sportsbook today.
