Mel Gibson Calls Dean Richards Bad Word in Interview

Mad Mel strikes again. (YouTube Video)"]
Mel Gibson did an interview to promote his new movie Edge of Darkness and was pretty peeved  when Chicago's  WGN-TV reporter  Dean Richards  dared to  bring up his past - questioning whether or not Gibson thinks his fans have gotten past his drunk driving arrest and anti-Semitic rant that sent Mel's popularity careening into the crapper.

Richards asked, "Do you think the public will perceive you any differently after all that's been in the news about you?"

Gibson stupidly asked what Richards was referring to and when Richards mentioned Gibson's alcoholism and anti-Semitic tirade during his DUI arrest, Gibson sneered, "That's almost four years ago, dude. I mean, I've moved on. I guess you haven't."

Mel seems to insist that four years is eons ago. And he  acts like Richards bringing up the subject is  so rude, taking on this "Why can't  I be an anti--Semite and still be a hugely popular movie star?" attitude.

As  Richards wrapped up the interview and thanked him for coming on, an angry Gibson sipped his coffee  and gave  the reporter a thumbs up, muttering "Asshole."
