Mel Gibson's DUI Goes Away

Mel Gibson has been forgiven for his sins. Well, not all of them, but the DUI he got back in 2006. A judge in Malibu just granted a request by Gibson’s attorney and expunged his highly-publicized DUI. We're not sure whether the police officer he called "sugar tits" has let it go - or for that matter whether the Jewish community has forgiven him for his anti-Semitic rant, but in the eyes of the law, Gibson is a good guy. Gibson pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI and was given three years probation, which he completed.

Gibson was arrested when he was pulled over in his Lexus going 85 mph down Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. A breathalyzer recorded Gibson's blood-alcohol level was 0.12 percent. The police report intially indicated the Gibson was arrested "without incident" however, TMZ uncovered four pages of buried material that revealed Gibson as a sexist anti-Semite. Good times.
