Memorabilia Company to Pay for Corey Haim's Funeral

Corey Haim's mother had been reaching out for donations to cover the cost of her son's funeral, but a company called Startifacts, a celebrity memorabilia company, volunteered to donate the proceeds from their Haim auctions to pay for the late star's  burial.

TMZ reports that Startifacts says they'll come to the funeral in Toronto, Ontario next week with a check for $20K.

Haim's last days were apparently full of signs of trouble. Liana Mendoza, an actress who worked with Haim on the set of his last film, Decisions, Told E! that she, "knew something was up. Other castmembebers were talking about it... People would say, 'Whoa, he is cracked out right now.'"

Mendoza also stated that Haim would come in and hang out on set even on days he wasn't working. "I just thought he might not want to be alone or something. It seemed like he needed a lot of love."

Los Angeles police recently busted an illegal prescription drug ring and found Haim's name on the database 5,000 fraudulent prescriptions. Haim had allegedly received illegal prescriptions for OxyContin.

Haim was 38-years-old when he past away in hospital in L.A. The cause of death results will be released in six to eight weeks as toxicology results are being processed.
