Michael Jackson is Normal and Other Propaganda

Okay, so we never said our news wasn't biased. That said, the King of Pop is hoping to both fondle and become the comeback kid. Fueled perhaps by the fact that he has defaulted on his Neverland Ranch mortgage, delinquent $23,212,963 on a $23,000,000 loan -- Wacko Jacko is back and ready to do business.

Now, gracing the cover of December's edition of "Ebony," Jackson's PR team is hitting the streets with the word, "normal." This morning, the creative director of the magazine, Harriette Cole, visited the "Today" show and likened Jackson to the average Joe.

“From the time that I spent with him, what I got is that he’s a man,” Cole said. “He’s 49. He’s a grown-up. If you learn from your challenges, then you become stronger. He certainly seemed like that. His voice is a bit lower. He came across really as kind of normal.”

When "Today" co-host Meredith Vieira questioned whether the word was appropriate to describe Jackson (go Meredith!), Cole replied, “Honestly, Meredith, he was normal.”

Cole also planted the seed that Jackson is working on another album. Convincing the world he's normal and his voice is lower? That's a tall order.
