National Treasure: Book of Secrets Tops Box Office Again

The Nicolas Cage sequel National Treasure: Book of Secrets topped theaters for a second straight weekend with $35.6 million. This weekend’s take brings its total to $124 million in 10 days.
Alvin and the Chipmunks remained a surprisingly strong performer, taking second place with $30 million and $142.4 million overall.
In third spot was former champ, Will Smith's I Am Legend, earning $27.5 million, and $194.6 million in three weeks.
Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts in Charlie Wilson's War came fourth with $11.8 million, bringing its total to $34.6 million.
Despite limited release, teen comedy Juno was fifth with $10.3 million. Since its release a month ago, the comedy has taken in $25.7 million.
Rounding out the top ten were Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem in sixth with $10.1 million, The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep in seventh with $9.2 million, P.S. I Love You in eighth with $9.1 million, Sweeney Todd was ninth with $8.0 million and Enchanted was tenth with $6.5 million.
