Nicholas Bollea (a.k.a Nick Hogan) was arrested this morning on a warrant for Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury resulting from an Aug. 26, 2007 wreck which seriously injured John Graziano -- who has severe brain injuries and will probably require specialized care indefinitely.
The Clearwater Police Department completed an extensive investigation into the causes of the crash and came to the conclusion that Nick was speeding and had also been seen drinking the night of the crash. The tolerance level for a driver under 21 is zero.
According to TMZ, since getting his license last year, Hogan received three speeding tickets in the last year (not including August's crash).
In the first incident, on Sept. 17, 2006, Nick was pulled over for doing 115 mph in a 70 mph zone. For his second ticket, TMZ reports he was clocked doing 57 in a 30. And for his third bust, he was clocked doing 106 in a 70. Graziano is a Marine who had just come back from Iraq.
A rep for Hogan released a statement that asked people to pray for Graziano, but also pointed out the fact that he wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
