Let's check in with America's political sweetheart, Barack Obama. (What, you thought it was Hillary?)
Obama is now getting 4/21 odds to be named the Democratic candidate for the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election. Hillary Clinton, the once overwhelming favorite, is well back at 11/2.
Some people even think Obama is presidential material! Hear that, Hill?
As for beating out the Republican candidate, John McCain, in the actual election, Obama is a slight underdog. McCain is getting 20/21 odds to become president; Obama is at 8/7.
This latest poll confirms it: McCain and Obama are neck-and-neck.
