Following in the trainwrecked footsteps of "Rehab" singer Amy Winehouse, comedic actor Owen Wilson refuses to go to rehab after a failed suicide attempt on Aug. 26.

Wilson was rushed to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center after reportedly taking pills and slitting his wrists. Wilson stayed in the hospital for detoxification but was released to the care of his family several days later.

While Wilson has previously done two unsuccessful stints in rehab, his family and friends are urging him to go back for help. However, according to an insider, Wilson "doesn't think he really has a problem." Instead, the funnyman has hired himself a $750 per day male "sober companion," whatever that's supposed to mean, and is relying on him "to stay by his side 24/7."

Perhaps the two play board games together?
