Attention whore Paris Hilton has begun casting for her newest reality TV project, Paris Hilton's My New BFF. Trouble is, nobody seems to want to be her "BFF."

While casting directors for the show hoped for lineups of American Idol proportions in New York, only about 40 people showed up, reports OK! magazine. "There were less than 40 people at the audition," a BFF hopeful told OK!

And what kind of mindless girls and guys hit up the audition? "There were girls wearing matching prom dresses with Swarovski crystial pendants and updos, ghetto-fabulous girls and two goth-inspired girls with bleach blonde hair, pale makeup, eyelash extentions and leather clothing," the source said.
