Patrick Swayze Kicks Pneumonia's Arse

Whatever it is that makes Patrick Swayze continue to win, we want a piece of. After showing pancreatic cancer a thing or two, Swayze has been released from the hospital after being admitted with pneumonia. The bout of pneumonia is due to complications from chemotherapy he has been undergoing for his cancer. Swayze was in the L.A. hospital for one week before being released.

His rep said, "I am happy to announce that Patrick Swayze is home after a brief hospitalization for pneumonia."

The 56-year-old actor checked himself into the hospital on Jan. 9, canceling his appearance at the Television Critics Association press event to promote his new A&E series, The Beast, which premiered Jan. 15
