The Brits stormed the U.K. and Sir Paul McCartney put his Heather Mills woes aside to perform and accept his honor for outstanding achievement at the Brit Awards. McCartney found time between court appearances in his nasty court battle over his assets to rehearse for the Brits however, and closed the ceremony with a 15-minute medley of hits, which earned him a standing ovation.

Amy Winehouse performed "Valerie" and "Love Is A Losing Game." Winehouse mouthed "I love you" into the camera - presumably at husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently rotting in Pentonville Prison. However, she urged the crowd: "Make some noise for my husband, my Blake."
