PETA Wages War Against Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

The Olsen twins, who have launched a new fashion line which includes fur, are officially on PETA's shit list. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who continue to wear and promote fur, are now the subject of a website and merchandise that dub them the "Trollsen Twins." On the site, PETA also refers to the twins as "Hairy-Kate" and "Trashley."

PETA released a statement saying, “No one would argue that Mary-Kate and Ashley could use some meat on their bones, but the last thing they need is hair on their backs.”

PETA also told press, "Mary-Kate and Ashley have ignored pleas to stop wearing fur and are still using it in their fashion collection."

A “Trollsen Twins” poster unveiled at their Hollywood Walk of Fame star today. The ad campaign bears the slogan, “Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People.”
