Pink Sets Record Straight About Divorcing Carey Hart

A day after news broke that singer Pink was getting a divorce from husband of two years and motorcross racer Carey Hart, she feels the need to set the record straight.

"I wanted to reach out personally to all my fans/friends out there in the world," the punky-pop singer worte on her website. "First and foremost, thank you for all of your support and love, it means a lot to me right now. The most important thing for all of you to know is that Carey and I love each other so so much.

"This breakup is not about cheating, anger or fighting," Pink continued. "I know it sounds like cliche bullshit, but we are best friends, and we will continue to be."

The singer says that she is currently hard at work on recording her album, and that Hart also has a lot of things going on, reports People magazine. "One never knows the future," Pink said. "But mine and Carey's just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day. Just not right now. Thanks for the concern and the caring."
