Known for many roles but most recognized for his role as Clark Griswald's white trash brother-in-law in the Vacation movies, Randy Quaid has always been an eccentric figure in the Hollywood movie industry. However, even though he and his wife Evi have dough - doesn't mean they want to spend it, especially on silly things like accommodations. After wracking up a $10K bill at the San Ysidro Ranch up near Santa Barbara, the Quaids allegedgly skipped out without paying the bill and were arrested and formally charged with felony burglary, conspiracy and defrauding an innkeeper.

Radar reports that this isn't the first time the couple have stiffed a hotel. They report, "a source close to the investigation confirmed that Randy and Evi also owe the Hotel Bel-Air $17,000 in unpaid hotel bills and are holding on to a rental car that has been reported missing by Hertz Rent-A-Car."

The Quaids don't seem to be taking the charges too seriously, with Quaid posing for his mugshot like a photo spread for GQ, with his jacket slung casually over his shoulder. The Quaids claim this is all a big conspiracy and they sent a copy of their police statement to TMZ.com claiming they had indeed paid their bill and included a copy of a $5,546.96 cashier’s check to the hotel. However, TMZ says that that they still owe another $5k and told the hotel they'd only pay the remainder if they don't press charges.
