Real Housewife Kelly Bensimon Sentenced to Community Service

Kelly Bensimon of the Real Housewives of New York City, was sentenced to two days of community service for beating her ex, Nicholas Stefanov, back in March. Stefanov filed a criminal complaint with the NYPD which stated that Bensimon hit him during an argument "with a closed fist, thereby causing informant to suffer a laceration below informant's left eye and substantial pain."

Bensimon, a former model and third wife of French fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon, claimed she was only protecting her family and "justice was served."

TMZ reports that if she completes her service and keeps out of trouble for a year, Bensimon's misdemeanor assault charges will be erased.
