Richie Sambora Charged with DUI

Richie Sambora was formally charged with DUI in an Orange County, Calif., District Attorney's office on Tuesday, reports People magazine.

The Bon Jovi guitarist was pulled over in Laguna Beach, Calif., on March 25 after his car was reportedly swerving on the road and his blood alcohol level was tested at .13. Sambora's 10-year-old daughter, Ava, her teenaged cousin and Sambora's girlfriend, Jenn Mallini, were also passengers in the car.

While the Laguna Beach Police recommended that Sambora be additionally charged for misdemeanor child endangerment, prosecutors decided to drop that charge.
