One of the most famous mistresses on the planet, Rielle Hunter, has opened up to GQ magazine in a candid interview about her affair with the former Democratic presidential hopeful  John Edwards. Writer Lisa DePaulo spent the night with Hunter (not in that way) in the three-bedroom house  Hunter rents to get the inside scoop into who this woman is and how she really lives.

Hunter tells DePaulo about  how Edwards' interview in  August 2008 with ABC's Bob Woodruff  where Edwards said it was impossible that he was the father of their now two-year-old daughter, Quinn, hurt her deeply.

"I never "hit on" Johnny. I'm not a predator, I'm not a gold digger, I'm not the stalker. I didn't have any power in that way in our relationship. He held all the power. And then, you know, um, Elizabeth's book tour and Johnny's interview were devastating to me. But I also knew it didn't mean anything."

The National Enquirer first broke the story of the affair between Hunter and Edwards. Hunter became pregant and Edwards denied that the child was his, finally making the admission recently when Andrew Young,  Edwards' former aide came forward with a tell-all book.

Hunter also revealed, "I could have cashed out big. But that's not what I'm about. I love Johnny and I love my daughter more than anything in the world, and I don't want to ever do anything to hurt them or hurt their relationship."
