It's a classic tale of boy meets girl, boy falls in love, boy gets into argument with girl, boy beats the living crap out of girl - we can all come to the conclusion that Rihanna is not the sharpest tool in the shed. To have her boyfriend beat her to the point of unconsciousness, then take him back just a few weeks later.

Even talk show queen Oprah took to the airways to tell Rihanna she needed to smarten up.

"Chris Brown and Rihanna, if I was your friend, I would call you up and I would say, 'Give it some time, get yourself some counseling, take care of yourself,'" Winfrey said Friday on her talk show. "Heal yourself first. And also, love doesn't hurt. I've been saying this to women for years: 'If a man hits you once, he will hit you again.'"

Now, to make matters worse, the couple are trying to pull a Sonny and Cher act. E! Online reports that the pair are in the studio working on a duet together.

"The seemingly reconciled duo have been working on a duet that Brown is hoping to include on his new album, due out later this year, a studio source tells E! News. 'They've been working on it together,' the insider says."
