Sarah Michelle Gellar to Play Porn Princess

The girl formerly known as "Buffy" will drop the slayer act and take on a more inspired role -- that of a porn star.

“Looks can be deceiving,” Gellar told Fox News. “My character doesn’t seem all that smart on paper, but she knows what she’s doing. She has branched out into many different aspects of fame and is very successful. That’s definitely quite inspiring.”

"Southland Tales" is set in a futuristic Los Angeles. Gellar plays a porn star who is reinventing herself as a television pundit offering her views on politics, contemporary culture, and teenage sex. The film's ensemble cast includes: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Justin Timberlake, Ling Bai and Mandy Moore.

“Sarah’s going into the sports world, she’s going into mixed martial arts — everybody better watch out,” warned The Rock. “She’s already proven how talented she is in term of crossing over genres, so she is going to just keep rolling with it.”
