Sarah Silverman confirmed on Friday that she is dating Alec Sulkin, writer and producer of Family Guy.

When someone on the call asked her what she looks for in a man, she said, "He's got to be funny."

Silverman had  previously been in a eight-year relationship with comic Jimmy  Kimmel, who she  met in 2001 when Silverman roasted Hugh Hefner.

"Jimmy Kimmel, everyone," Silverman said after Kimmel's introduction. "He's fat and has no charisma. Watch your back, Danny Aiello."

Silverman's Comedy Central show The Sarah Silverman Program returns next week.
