Sean Penn Splits from Robin Wright Penn

After Brendan Fraser announced his divorce yesterday, Sean Penn jumped on the Hollywood break-up bandwagon and has announced his split from Robin Wright Penn.

Penn and Wright began dating one year after Penn ended his four-year relationship to Madonna in 1989, meeting on the set of the 1990 thriller "State of Grace."

Wright is best-known for her role as Princess Buttercup in the 1987 hit, "The Princess Bride." Sean Penn's breakout role was in "Fast Times at Ridegmont High."
