Actor Shia LaBeouf was among the 25,000 men and women who gathered at LA's Dodgers Stadium to take part in the LA Marathon, which was won by Wesley Korir, who defended his Los Angeles Marathon title with an unofficial time of 2 hours, 9 minutes, 20 seconds - the third-fastest time in race history. Edna Kiplagat of Kenya won the women's division and both she and Korir  earned $100,000 for their first-place wins.

Along with LaBeouf, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay  was also among the celebrities running in the  sold-out, 26.2-mile race, as well as former Bachelor, Andy Baldwin and Lord of the Rings  actor Sean Astin.

Celebrities are not just running in today's race, they are also cheering participants on at the sidelines. Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are reportedly hanging out at checkpoints cheering on runners.

The race, which began at 7 a.m. this morning, began at Dodger's Stadium and ended at the Santa Monica Pier.
