Shakira Sex Tape Exposed as Hoax

Okay, we were duped. I'm not sure which sucks more. The fact that we fell for it -- or that a Shakira sex tape apparently doesn't exist.

The Beat helped perpetuate Internet rumors earlier this week when we got wind of a tape alleged to feature Shakira engaging in a threesome on a yacht with pop star Alejandro Sanz and her boyfriend, Antonio de la Rua. The sex tape rumor was part of a publicity stunt to promote the song La Tortura, which Sanz and Shakira teamed up on.

In a joint statement, the singers' representatives said: "This is a false rumor. This is totally absurd any way you look at it. There is no possibility that such a video exists.
