Singer Jewel Marries Ty Murray

Country singer Jewel tied the knot with rodeo star Ty Murray on a beach in the Bahamas on Thursday, reports US magazine. The 34-year-old, snaggle-toothed crooner had been dating 38-year-old Murray for over a decade.

"Jewel is thrilled," a source told US. "It was so romantic. She looked beautiful. Her dress is gorgeous, the ring is gorgeous. They can't be happier!"

"Ty's been so supportive and steady," Jewel told Redbook magazine in 2006. "I always say he's a stand-up guy in a world of flakes.

"He's very direct, very straightforward. You never have to guess with him," she added. "And that reliability is really comforting. Especially for somebody as capricious as myself."

The couple currently live on 2,200 acre ranch in Texas with their shitzu George.
