Spears Family Speaks Out Against Dr. Phil's Betrayal

If this was a movie of the week, it would be too melodramatic. A fallen pop star who shaves her head, screws (literally) a paparazzi and is visited in the hospital by a talk-show doctor. It can't be real, can it? This must be some sort of Truman Show inspired joke on the world.

The stranger than fiction saga of Britney Spears continued this morning when a representative for the Spears family delivered a serious verbal assault on talk show psychologist, Dr. Phil.

The Spears family spokeswoman Lou Taylor said that the family felt "betrayed" over Dr. Phil's inappropriate publicity stunts surrounding their mentally unstable daughter.
