Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler is going to rehab. The on-again-off-again drug addict is apparently addicted to pain killers. In the '70s and early '80s, Tyler was terribly addicted to drugs and alcohol. He completed a stint in rehab in 1986 and was able to stay sober for over 20 years.

Rumors had recently circulated that Tyler was leaving Aerosmith and that his band members were worried that he was addicted to drugs again. On November 10, however, Tyler joined The Joe Perry Project onstage at the Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza and performed "Walk This Way." According to sources at the event, Tyler assured the crowd that despite rumors to the contrary, he is "not quitting Aerosmith."

Tyler said, "With the help of my family and team of medical professionals, I am taking responsibility for the management of my pain and am eager to be back on the stage and in the recording studio with my bandmates.
