Britain's Got Talent runner-up and break-out superstar, the great Susan Boyle, made her first trip to the United States to perform on the America's Got Talent finale. Boyle came out wearing a black, floor-length gown and sang a beautifully arranged rendition of "Wild Horses," from the Rolling Stones' 1971 album Sticky Fingers.

When she hit her first high note, the crowd jumped to their feet and cheered for Boyle, who had been previously hospitalized for exhaustion after the finale of Britain's Got Talent.

"I don't remember much about it after the finale," Boyle said in a video played before her performance. "All I remember is being put in an ambulance and being taken to a clinic. I've never felt so tired. I look back at it now, it was a necessity because I was tired. I don't know what was wrong me with, though."

Kentucky chicken catcher Kevin Skinner won America's Got Talent, beating an opera singer from Houston, a recycled-instrument percussion group from New Hampshire, the Texas Tenors and the singing siblings Voices of Glory.

Boyle's debut album, I Dreamed a Dream will hit stores November 24. Check out her performance below:
