Ted Kennedy Diagnosed with Malignant Brain Tumor

Ted Kennedy was rushed to the emergency room Saturday morning with what was thought to be a stroke. However, now it is being reported that the 76-year-old Senator is suffering from a malignant glioma, a type of brain cancer that affects an average of 9,000 Americans yearly.
Reuters reports that Kennedy will require chemotherapy and radiation however long-term treatment will be decided after more tests.
Kennedy is currently residing at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
