In The Bucket List, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman play terminal cancer patients who live their final days to the fullest.

Just trailing behind The Bucket List's $19.5 million weekend pull is Ice Cube's comedy First Sunday, which has so far earned a respectable $19 million. In third is the indie flick Juno which scored a cool $14 million.

Although The Bucket List earned a luke warm reception from critics with a 40% approval rating from Rottentomatoes.com, Warner Bros. gamble to target an older audience paid off.

For next weekend, the box office battle will be between Paramount Pictures' Cloverfield, about a monster attacking New York, and 20th Century Fox's 27 Dresses, a Katherine Heigl romantic wedding comedy.
