The Incredible Hulk, Box Office Smash

The results are in for the highest grossing films of the weekend and Edward Norton has once again smashed his way to the top.

Starring as Bruce Banner in the latest rendition of The Incredible Hulk, the former Fight Club icon stars alongside Liv Tyler fresh off her most recent stint in the top five with The Strangers.

On the weekend, Hulk pulled in $54.5M making 2008 one successful year for Marvel which released Iron Man just weeks prior.

In second place on the weekend came Kung Fu Panda with $34.3M. The start-studded cast of Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman and Angelina Jolie can not be disappointed with the result after leading the box office just last week.

Rounding out the top three is the latest M. Night Shyamalan flick, The Happening, which hauled in $30.5M.

Adam Sandler's You Don't Mess With The Zohan and the Indiana Jones episode finished in fourth and fifth place respectively at $16.4M and $13.5M.
