The Skeleton Bar: Coolest Bar on the Planet

If you're thinking of having a beer in Switzerland, you might want to check out The Skeleton Bar.
The Tiger Woods story is older than Hugh Hefner and on a cold Sunday afternoon in December, this blogger  was having a hard time scrounging up celebrity news for you folks. While tooling around on the Internets today however, I stumbled across the coolest bar on the planet - courtesy of the art director of the Alien movies, Hans Rudolf 'Ruedi' Giger.

The Skeleton Bar is located in the Swiss village  of called "Gruyí¨re", like the cheese, where Giger lives.

Giger, who won the Oscar for best visual effects for Alien in 1980, is originally an architect who got into painting as a form of art therapy for his nightmares. His work can also be seen on  several music albums, including the insert to the Dead Kennedy’s Frankenchrist, which was involved in an obscenity lawsuit.
