Tiger Woods may be back on the world's radar after news broke that he may be donating $3 million to help those who have been impacted by the terrible earthquake in Haiti. The donation would send doctors and medical supplies to Haiti, which  was struck by a devasting    7.0-magnitude quake on Tuesday. Russell  Simmons and representatives from Yele,  Wyclef Jean's Haitian relief organizatin,  reached out to  Woods for support. Now Simmons claims that Tiger is indeed  getting involved in the Haiti relief effort and Tweeted: "heard tiger woods donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there. Keep ur prayers high!"

Simmons also said, "Tiger is working on sending a mobile hospital with 50 EMTs to go set up a triage. I am just asking for his heart and his hand. Just to meet the needs of the people."

The quake struck Port-au-Prince, the Haitian capital, and its impact has been devastating. The city has been destroyed and thousands of lives have been taken. Supporting a Haitian relief effort via Yéle  would be Woods' first public move since his sex scandal.

Wyclef says on the site, "The objective of Yéle Haiti is to restore pride and a reason to hope, and for the whole country to regain the deep spirit and force that is part of our heritage"
