Tom Cruise Buys a New House for Katie and Suri

Tom Cruise must be hanging out with Victoria and David Beckham too much; either that or he just has way too much money. TomKat has just shelled out 35 million for a Bev. Hills 7 bedroom palace.

The 10,000-square-foot house was built in 1937, but re-modeled just four years ago and expanded. The gated mansion boasts 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a tennis court and a pool. A source told The Sun, "The new place fits all his needs." The Beat should friggin' hope so... sorry.

However, in Cruise's defense, it's not just him, Katie and their new baby living there; Tom's adopted kids from his marriage to Nicole Kidman - Isabella and Connor - as well as his mother also live with him.

Previously TomKat had been renting another place, just down the street from their new mansion. David and Victoria are only mere minutes away. Speaking of Victoria, it seems that Mel Brown (Scary Spice) was in Los Angeles for a few days. She was there to wish David a happy 32nd birthday, but reportedly she was also there to talk of the Spice Girls reunion.
