Barack Obama beat Hillary Clinton again.

This time in fundraising during February. According to the New York Times, Obama raised $50 million during the month while Clinton received $35 million in donations. The Clinton campaign was delighted by that number, because the New York senator had been running out of cash. But even as she was getting money in the bank, her opponent was outpacing her like he has all month.

The most recent polls also show Obama has inched ahead of Clinton in Ohio, a crucial state on next week’s primary schedule. Should Obama win Ohio and Texas on Tuesday he will most likely force Clinton to depart the race.

Another area where Obama surpassed Clinton in February was in the betting arena. Money has poured in on the Illinois senator’s U.S. presidential odds. He’s the 8/15 favorite to be the next president while John McCain, the likely Republican candidate, is at 3/2 and Clinton is 8/1. Ralph Nader is 150/1 after entering the race.

Odds to win the Democratic nomination
have swung heavily in Obama’s favor. He’s now the overwhelming 2/13 frontrunner after being well back of Clinton just a few month’s ago. The former first lady has dropped to 5/1 to win her party’s nomination.
