Valerie Bertinelli is relaunching her career by losing a whopping 50 pounds. Bertinelli, the main spokesperson for Jenny Craig, is 48-years-old and recently published a book about her struggle with weight loss called, "Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time."

Best known for her role as Bonnie Franklin's daughter, Barbara Cooper Royer, on the long-running television series One Day at a Time, Bertinelli has dated Steven Spielberg and was married to Eddie Van Halen. She has been in a relationship since 2004 with financial planner Tom Vitale.
