Tom Cruise's new Nazi movie, Valkyrie is gonna be big (according to an internal MGM memo leaked by Nikki Finke) - however, rumblings from critics beg to differ.

With Cruise sporting an American accent and the rest of the ensemble speaking with accents that range from British to bad German, the idea that Cruise is Colonel Claus Von Stauffenberg, a German army officer who tried and fails to assassinate Hitler, is a hard one to swallow.

Moreover, industry insiders point out that the film's release date, December 26, will face some serious competition as it shares a scheduled release date of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet's film,   Revolutionary Road.

Cruise has had a few upsets on the set of Valkyrie, including this one and this one.
