WSOP LIVE: Laurence Hughes Packs His Bags

LAS VEGAS - Team Bodog player, Laurence Hughes (hugedog) was knocked out at the very end of Day 3 late last night, in 483rd place, cashing for $26,389 after a spirited showing all day.

He went up against one of the chip leaders, Dimitri Nobles. Dimitri was to Laurence's right and was the small blind while Laurence was on the big blind. Dimitri had been playing very aggressive and raising almost every hand. In this particular hand, everyone folded to Dimitri knowing he would raise, and of course, Dimitri threw out a raise of $20,000. Laurence looked down at his hand and found A 10. He thought to himself, I either fold this or push all in over the top. With Dimitri's aggresive play all day, laurence decided to push. Dimitri called right away and turned over QQ. No help came to Laurence on the flop turn or river eliminating him in 483rd place.

Laurence cashed in the two (first and only) WSOP events he played:

Event 37 ($1500 NL Hold'em): 86th out of 2803, $6,122

Main Event (through bodog): 483rd, $26,389
