Yoko Ono Sells John Lennon's \"Real Love\" to Department Store

The widow of John Lennon has sold a number of Lennon items over the years -- however, now a rare, acoustic home recording of "Real Love" has been sold as a Christmas song to JC Penny department stores.

The Beatles have had their songs licensed for commercials in the past, but have never have allowed master recordings out. The songs are always re-recorded. However, "Real Love" is not technically a Beatles song, but a Lennon song that was reworked by the surviving Beatles and included in their 1990's "Anthology."

Still, Beatles fans are up-in-arms over Ono's greed. The commercial began airing on Sunday night during ABC’s "Brothers & Sisters."
